If you've ever taken a look through a cover archive of DC Comics circa the Silver Age, then you're aware of a simple truth: They are insane. The absurd conflicts they illustrated (often with helpful thought bubbles) included obese Lois Lane, Lois Lane as a centaur, Lois Lane as a black woman, and Superman as the biggest dick ever . A few years back we were asked to imagine what it would be like if Stan Lee created the DC Universe, but artist Kerry Callen, creator of Halo and Sprocket, decided to go in the opposite direction and envision what Marvel characters like Spider-Man and Captain America might have looked like if they'd been published by DC during the delightful craziness of the Silver Age.
