Looking at the cover for the upcoming Red Hood and the Outlaws #2, announced recently on The Source, I noticed something pretty unusual for superhero comics, which tends to reserve its bizarre sexualization for women: what appears to be a very, very clear outline of the Red Hood's genitalia. Aside from the spandex logistics, which would basically require a men's version of boobsocks, this is notably one of the first times I've ever seen a male character's sexual characteristics depicted in a way that equals the skeeviness of how women are often drawn. Finally, equality! Creepy, unwelcome equality.Additionally, we have also elected to express our thoughts on the subject in an alternate format that the internet may understand more intuitively: an animated GIF.
