The ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ Teaser Trailer is in Your Face [Video]
Just in advance of Comic-Con International in San Diego, Columbia Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, the new film based on the classic Marvel Comics superhero. Directed by Marc Webb, the new movie relaunches the Spider-Man film franchise with Andrew Garfield in the title role and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.
Check out the video after the jump.While Webb's approach to the material doesn't seem all that distinctive from that of Sam Raimi, the director behind the original, mega-successful Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire, The Amazing Spider-Man appears to make prodigious use of a first-person camera style, giving audiences some idea of what climbing walls, jumping off rooftops and swinging through New York City might look like through Spidey's eyes.
