It looks like Monolith's quasi-controversial and very cartoony shooter Gotham City Imposters has settled on a release date and a price tag. IGN reports that players will be able to war fake Batmans against fake Jokers for $15 on the PlayStation3/1200 Microsoft points on the Xbox 360 come Winter 2012. See new gameplay from the title after the jump.As we've mentioned before, the game is at least loosely based on David Hine, Scott McDaniel and Andy Owens' "Impostor" storyline from Detective Comics #867-870. It's still unclear whether drugs are at the root of the zaniness seen in all the recent GCI promos, but the character motivations are clearly not Batman-approved.
