The Internet is telling me that today, May 25, is Geek Pride Day, which Wikipedia describes as "a non-denominational holiday to be celebrated by nerds and geeks who do not feel ashamed of showing their unconventional interests in public." I'm incredulous. Geek Pride Day on the Internet is like Empire Pride Day on the Death Star. However, because Geek Pride Day is celebrated on the release date of the original Star Wars film, it does seem like the appropriate moment to enjoy this video of a decidedly geeky event: a reading of Star Wars featuring many of the best voice actors in animation performing George Lucas' dialogue as some of their most beloved characters and Hollywood celebrities.NOTE: This video contains NSFW language.

The reading took place at this year's Emerald City Comicon in Seattle, which now has the distinction of playing host to the most impressive Tumblr-esque pop culture mashup we've yet seen. The vocal talents assembled included Billy West (Futurama, Ren & Stimpy), Tara Strong (Powerpuff Girls, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic), Maurice LaMarche (Futurama, Pinky & The Brain), John DiMaggio (Adventure Time, Batman: The Brave and the Bold), Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), Jess Harnell (Animaniacs, the Transformers films) and Rob Paulsen (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pinky & The Brain).

Characters are switched in and out throughout the performance, but here's a preview of what you'll see in this video:

- Batman as the narrator

- Powerpuff Girl Bubbles as Darth Vader

- Jake the Dog as Princess Leia

- William Shatner as C-3PO

- Stimpy as Uncle Owen

- George Takei as C-3PO

- Bender as Luke Skywalker

- Futurama's Morbo as R2-D2

- Vincent Price as Princess Leia

- Twilight Sparkle as Aunt Beru

- Pinky as Luke Skywalker

- The Brain as Princess Leia

- Aquaman as Uncle Owen

- Zoidberg as Luke Skywalker

- Tracy Morgan as Obi-Wan Kenobi

- Eric Cartman as Obi-Wan Kenobi

- Rosie Pérez as Princess Leia

- Calculon as Tarkin

- Christopher Walken as Han Solo

- TMNT's Raphael as Obi-Wan Kenobi

And that's not all.
