Perhaps the most profound fusion between classic Disney characters and Japanese pop culture since Kingdom Hearts has arrived, and it's a giant combining piloted mecha versions of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and his dog house, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and a mini Steamboat Willie. Call it "Disney Voltron," "Disney Megazord" or whatever shorthand you prefer, Bandai's Chogokin King Robo Mickey & Friends will debut in the flesh plastic at the Tamashii Nation 2012 event on October 26. Set to retail for 13,440 Yen (roughly $170 USD) when it arrives in Japan in March, the assembled action figure will stand about 8.7" tall. In keeping with Disney's mostly family-friendly image, the robot doesn't come with a giant laser sword or other weapons and seemingly lacks the capacity to wield any, period. Consider this challenge to use the power of my imagination accepted, Disney and Bandai. You can check out more images of Chogokin King Robo Mickey & Friends after the jump.
