When last we heard, Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady were working on some kind of Batman: Arkham Asylum/City prequel set in the Silver Age that dealt, in part, with Batman's first meeting with the Joker. There was also a hint that Bats would potentially be interacting with Superman and the Justice League, to some extent. Furthermore, Paul Dini went on record to note that he hadn't been hired to work on whatever Rocksteady's next Batman game would be. Now it seems fans may have even more clues to the next title's content as Warner Bros. -- by way of MarkMonitor -- has very recently registered 14 domain names with titles like "Arkham Universe," "Arkham Legends" and "Arkham Origins," all of which seem like suitable titles to cap a potential video game trilogy. Here's the full list of registered domains:

  • arkhamuniverse.com (Arkham Universe)
  • batmanarkahmuniverse.com (Batman Arkham Universe)
  • batmanarkhamarises.com (Batman Arkham Arises)
  • batmanarkhambegins.com (Batman Arkham Begins)
  • batmanarkhamdarkknight.com (Batman Arkham Dark Knight)
  • batmanarkhamknight.com (Batman Arkham Knight)
  • batmanarkhamlegend.com (Batman Arkham Legend)
  • batmanarkhamlegends.com (Batman Arkham Legends)
  • batmanarkhamnight.com (Batman Arkham Night)
  • batmanarkhamorigins.com (Batman Arkham Origins)
  • batmanarkhamstories.com (Batman Arkham Stories)
  • darkknightarkham.com (Dark Knight Arkham)
  • dcarkhamuniverse.com (DC Arkham Universe)
  • dcarkhamverse.com (DC Arkhamverse)
  • thearkhamuniverse.com (The Arkham Universe)

None of these titles have been confirmed to relate to any given Batman project from any of the character's scores of multimedia offerings, but considering Arkham City was teased with the registration of 15 similarly confounding Bat domains, fans have some reason to hope more info about a third Batman game could be revealed before too long.
