By now most fans have seen their share of Injustice: Gods Among Us clashes, but far less footage of the game's single player campaigns that go beyond mere mortal kcombat. NetherRealm's new DC fighting game will task players with all sorts of side missions under the familiar "S.T.A.R. Labs" banner, though, putting them in control of heroes, villains, and an assortment of noncombatants in the game as they flesh out the post-deadLoisatomicbombpocalypse DCU. IGN took some of the missions for a spin alongside I:GAU Senior Producer Adam Urbano, showcasing Catwoman's kitty Isis sneaking through security systems, Black Adam blasting asteroids, a potential playable Martian Manhunter tease, Aquaman convincing sharks not to eat him, and more. Though these side missions won't be a part of the game's playable demo launching on April 2 and 3 on PSN and XBL, it's still a good look at what players can expect when the full game launches on April 16. You can check it out after the cut.
