Blizzard's Overwatch Widowmaker Statue is No Nightmare

Though actual collectibles under the Overwatch banner have been in short supply --- mostly due to Blizzard's commitment to its brands --- the few pieces released so far have been spectacular. Already Blizzard has launched a statue line for Overwatch featuring Tracer and Reaper, but both of those pieces pale in comparison to the latest addition, Widowmaker.

After announcing Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series in December, Telltale Games has been very secretive about when and where the spacefaring adventures of Marvel's reluctant heroes would arrive. With nothing but a vague hint that we'd be able to hang with the gang in 2017, many of us eagerly awaited the next details on the developer's first Marvel Comics video game.

Well wonder no more, true believers. Telltale's Guardians are arriving in just a few short weeks this April.

Ping. Ping. Ping. The sound of an aluminum baseball bat is familiar to anyone that's walked through a public park in the summer, or hit up the batting cages by the mini-golf course after a round of 18. I thought I would always remember that familiar pang as something pure and beautiful. Then I watched the new trailer for Telltale's The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, and all I can think about is the sound that same bat makes when smashing in a zombie skull.

The third story trailer for Injustice 2 has arrived, and instead of giving a broad glance at what's going on in the alternate future of the DCU, this video hones in specifically on Supergirl. She's been front and center for a lot of the promotion around Injustice 2, and based on what we know about the game, it makes perfect sense. Since the 1990s, the Hubble Space Telescope has been beaming images of stars, nebulas and galaxies back to Earth, giving us the best look anyone alive had ever seen at the worlds beyond our own Milky Way home. Our nearest neighboring galaxy, Andromeda, is but a mere 2.5 million light years from Earth, and though you can view it on a clear night without the aid of NASA's orbiting photography satellite, consumer-grade optics just don't have the same panache. But thanks to Bioware and Mass Effect Andromeda, we don't really need it either. The latest entry in the spacefaring RPG series from EA's Bioware studio transports players to the Andromeda galaxy, presenting them not only with a whole new galaxy to explore, but some of the most awe-inspiring space imagery I've ever seen. Teased in some earlier gameplay footage, Cheetah has finally gotten an Injustice 2 trailer all her own. The vicious attacks of the melee fighter look absolutely brutal, and her speed and agility will no doubt make her a bonafide threat.
