The purpose of this Art of Color series is twofold: to highlight some of the best colorists working in comics, and to explain what it is about these artists' work that makes their comics better. With Cris Peter's work in Casanova: Luxuria, we have someone who perfectly exemplifies both criteria.

However much polish its first season might have used, Sony PlayStation’s Powers isn’t having trouble attracting name actors and sci-fi icons. Following Michael Madsen’s SuperShock-ing role last week, Battlestar Galactica icon Tricia Helfer has joined the series for Season 2, but will she be suiting up?

Taron Egerton has become quite popular since his breakout role earlier this year in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, and while that’s great news for the actor and his fans, it’s a bit tricky for his scheduling, which has gotten a little complicated. And it’s Egerton’s popularity that’s causing a slight issue for Kingsman 2 as it prepares to head into production in the spring.

Moderately-received though it may have been, Sony PlayStation original Powers nonetheless continues to pull some impressive casting. Following last year’s coup of Sharlto Copley in the leading role, Tarantino favorite Michael Madsen has joined Powers Season 2 in the key role of aptly-titled superhero “SuperShock.”

Mark Millar’s stylish and violent graphic novels have proven to be ripe source material for film adaptations, from Kick-Ass to Kingsman: The Secret Service, but there’s one project that’s had a tougher time getting off the ground. Nemesis was initially set up at 20th Century Fox with Tony Scott attached to direct, but following the director’s untimely death, the property entered development limbo — until now.
