Cinderella Returns in ‘Fables are Forever’ #1 [Preview]

Following up on the critical and commercial success of Cinderella: From Fabletown with Love, writer Chris Roberson and artist Shawn McManus are back with a new miniseries starring everybody's favorite magical superspy, Cinderella: Fables are Forever. Featuring another set of beautiful covers by Chrissie Zullo and launching this week, the six-issue Vertigo miniseries finds Cinderella wearing a bikini in freezing cold Russia as part of a dangerous mission to discover who's been killing sorcerers on the Fables farm. All signs point to Cindy's long-dead enemy Silverheels, whose secret identity is a focus of the story, calling back to the great mystery over the Adversary from the first cycle of Fables stories by creator Bill Willingham.

We're very impressed with the work of Chris Roberson, especially lately, and don't expect to be disappointed when Cinderella: Fables are Forever #1 goes on sale this week. The good people at Vertigo have released a preview which you can check out below.
