For most rock bands, a chance to meet or perform with music royalty is a major career highlight. For Kyle Stevens and Jim Demonakos of Kirby Krackle, however, that all-star experience is coming care of a jam session with one of comic's biggest names - Marvel EiC Joe Quesada.

The special performance mark's the release of "E For Everyone," KK's sophomore disc, which features the band's Wolverine-themed single "On and On."

Fans can catch the Quesada-infused release show Sunday, March 14 at 2 p.m. as part of Emerald City ComiCon. I'd expect a pretty healthy hometown turnout for the Seattle-based band, especially considering Demonakos' role as the organizer of the convention. Also, given Quesada's musical background, it should be interesting to see how the talents meld onstage.

Those who won't be able to attend the release show, but want the album fresh off the proverbial press can preorder the new album at KK's Web site. Hopefully, though, KK will make arrangements to stream the show live online. Cater to my unique needs Kirby Krackle!
