In today's fast-paced world, it's important to have an edge, something that sets you apart. There was a time when all you needed was a double-breasted power suit and the right tie, but it's time to admit that those days are over. So if you're finally ready to go that extra mile and let both colleagues and competitors know that you mean business, then it's time to get yourself a superhero business card:

Xena, you've got some competition, sister! At superherocards.com, you can get your own set of personalized cards for the low, low price of just $299. According to the site, these are the "world's most powerful business cards."

You select your Super Hero Identity, your Super Power and your Secret Weapon. In addition, you get to tell the world really cool stuff about yourself, like your favorite food, color, animal guide and of course, your weakness. Every Super Hero has a weakness. In this case however, if you are a lousy listener, we don't want you to list that. Make it something fun that works for you like Golf, Chocolate or anything that is a "G" rated activity that is particularly fun for you.

After getting a look at some of the cards in the gallery and seeing names like Compliance Man and Likable IT Guy, I can't help thinking that this is actually just a character-creation site for a role-playing game based on "Office Space". But the best part is that they've also made a bunch of fake cards for workplace villains. Here's one of my favorites: The Pro Crastinator!!!

His super power is listed as "comfortable inaction," which sounds to me like a pretty awesome way to live.

I'm not a rich man, but after staring at this website for something like four hours, I'm starting to think this might be worth it. I've never really been inspired to give out my business cards as often as I should, but if I had these, I'd be passing them out constantly.

The only drawback? As far as I can tell, they don't offer raised lettering. Raised lettering is a pretty big deal.
