Norman Osborn Is Back In 'Amazing Spider-Man' #25
In superhero comics, there's nothing quite as iconic as seeing the triumphant hero clash with their ultimate nemesis, and for Spider-Man that rival is none other than The Green Goblin. In next month's The Amazing Spider-Man #25, Dan Slott and Stuart Immonen bring back a more cunning and deadlier version of Norman Osborn for a special oversized issue that also features stories by Cale Atkinson, Hannah Blumenreich, and more!

Whether it’s as wife, confidante, or a take no prisoners model/actress/nightclub owner, Mary Jane has been one of the most enduring and important supporting characters in comics for half a century.

Spider-Man vs Vultures in 'Civil War II: Amazing Spider-Man' #1
After that whole "three different costumes in a year" thing he went through in the original Civil War, Peter Parker isn't rushing into anything this time around. Determined to figure things out on his own, Spider-Man uses his connection with Johnny Storm to set up a meeting with Ulysses, the precognitive Inhuman at the heart of Civil War II. At least, that's what the official synopsis and the Marvel.com interview with writer Christos Gage tell us about the events of Civil War II: Amazing Spider-Man #1. The preview is just two pages of Spidey fighting some purple Vulture guys. But it's a great showcase for Travel Foreman's art, so that's something.

What Marvel Got Right About Spider-Man (That Sony Got Wrong)
Oh what a different 18 months makes. A year ago, last fall Spider-Man fans were facing an entire universe of Spidey movies they didn’t particularly want; a third Amazing Spider-Man about the continuing and not-particularly-exciting adventures of Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker, plus spinoff movies for Venom and the Sinister Six. Things got so bad for Spider-Man that when rumors began circulating that Sony was considering an Aunt May movie, Sony had to publicly dismiss those rumors as “silly” with “no validity whatsoever” because people thought that the company that made Amazing Spider-Man 2 might actually be dumb enough to make an Aunt May movie.

A new comic variant Season 3 finale poster pays homage to a classic Spider-Man cover, teasing an end to one of the title Agents.
