Spidey's Greatest Enemy Returns In Final 'Dead No More' Teaser
Marvel Comics has been teasing its big Spider-Man event for 2016, "Dead No More" for a few months now, but over the last week information has slowly trickled out in the form of teasers by Alexander Lozano, seemingly showing Spider-Man's closest loved ones and deadliest enemies returned from the grave. The last of the teasers has been released today and with it comes the reveal of the return of Peter Parker's greatest enemy.
Scorpio Returns in 'Amazing Spider-Man' #9 [Preview]
Scorpio Returns in 'Amazing Spider-Man' #9 [Preview]
Peter Parker, the elder of Marvel's two equally important Spider-Men, teams up with Nick Fury to take on Scorpio in Amazing Spider-Man #9 by Dan Slott and Guiseppe Camuncoli, the first chapter of "Scorpio Rising." Scorpio is of course an old enemy of the original Nick Fury, and leader of the Zodiac criminal organization (not to be confused with Zodiac Starforce). The original Scorpio was Nick Fury Sr's brother, and later the name was used by Fury's son. So whichever Scorpio this is must be related to Nick Fury Jr somehow, mostly like as an uncle or half-brother. Either way there's sure to be some drama when Nick and Peter catch up to him.

Jose Molina and Simone Bianchi are bringing back a spiritual Afro-Latino Tribeca superhero team that you've probably never heard of in the pages of the newly announced Amazing Spider-Man #1.1 this fall. Bizarro Back Issues Spider-Man Fights Electro On A Talk Show
I didn't make it out to the theater to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 this weekend -- I had some crucial paint drying that needed to be watched -- but all the hype surrounding it actually did make me want to go back and read some classic Spider-Man stories. The only question was which one would have everything that I wanted, which was pretty tricky since I've only really seen Andrew Garfield and Emm

Dan Slott must have been saving up his jokes over the past 16 months or so. The Amazing Spider-Man #1, the issue that officially reintroduces Peter Parker to the Marvel Universe after a lengthy absence during which his body was under the control of Doctor Octopus, is chock full of laugh lines that really hit. Slott, artist Humberto Ramos, inker Victor Olazaba and colorist Edgar Delgado get the ton

Back in December, Sony Pictures announced that it was going full-force with its Spider-Man franchise, not just with a followup to the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie, but with Venom and Sinister Six movies to boot. The directors for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Venom were already in place at the time of that announcement (Marc Webb is sticking with the main series and Alex Kurtzman will ha
