Dynamite Day 2016 Unveils New 'Battlestar Galactica' And More
Dynamite declared today “Dynamite Day 2016,” announcing several new comics featuring some of its best-known licenses. The four new titles celebrate anniversaries, collect some spectacular art, and in one case endorses a new presidential candidate who, in all honesty, seems like a pretty fair shout right now. The biggest announcement is perhaps the new Battlestar Galactica series, written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Alex Sanchez, set during the time of the original series. The book marks Bunn’s first ongoing series with Dynamite, while Sanchez was seen recently on books like Katana over at DC.

Funko Reveals NYCC 2015 Exclusive Collectibles
With October just around the bend, that means it's time for cooler weather, cooler costumes and the biggest comic book convention on the east coast. Yes, New York Comic Con is bearing down on us faster than we're prepared to deal with it, but that's okay. We'll make do. In addition to incredible amount of stuff happening at the show, there will be a lot of great stuff up for grabs. As busy as Funko was at San Diego Comic-Con, its plate looks to be equally as filled at NYCC this coming year. This week, Funko is unveiling all of its planned exclusive items, with a new batch coming every single day. While the availability of each is likely to be a bit more open than it was at SDCC, these things will still be limited. If you're hoping to get any, definitely plan ahead and around any and all panels you hope to make it to this year.

Parting Shot: The Entire Battlestar Galactica Series as a 16-Bit RPG
Following in the footsteps of their Game of Thrones RPG video, Collegehumor returns with a 16-bit Square/Enix-style RPG reimagining of the complete Battlestar Galactica series on Syfy. It's an abbreviated retelling, to be sure, but BSG fans (and critics) will enjoy the shoutouts to controversial plot twists like the Final Five Cylons and whatever the hell happened in the finale...

Edward James Olmos Plans to Revisit ‘Battlestar Galactica’ in Comics
Few stories have divided genre television fans like that of Sci-Fi's (now SyFy's) "Battlestar Galactica." The philosophical dystopian space opera, which debuted in 2003 and concluded more than a year ago, inspired a level of fan evangelism rarely seen even in geek circles before a sectarian split somewhere in the third season...

Here’s A Colonel Saul Tigh Action Figure, Blow HIM Outta The Frrrrrrakkin’ Airlock!
Confession time - I'm halfway through the "Caprica" pilot and so far, I don't like it. I know, I know, that's blasphemous and whatever, but I'm just not thrilled by it yet. To be fair, I didn't love the initial "Battlestar Galactica" miniseries, but the first episode of the proper series completely won me over...
