Marvel prides itself on the deep interconnectedness of its cinematic universe. Events in one movie continue to the next, and plot threads from years earlier continue to resonates in the lives of the company’s characters. Captain America: Civil War incorporated elements of almost every single Marvel movie that preceded it. Even relatively forgotten MCU movies, like The Incredible Hulk, were rendered important in its massive comic-book tapestry. (Hulk nemesis General Ross, played by William Hurt, made his first Marvel appearance since Incredible Hulk in Civil War, as the current Secretary of State who tries to get the Avengers to agree to the U.S. government’s demands for more accountability.) In Marvel, everything counts and everything connects.

Of the many bonus features included in each new Marvel Blu-ray / DVD release, the gag reels are always the most special of the bunch, especially when the whole MCU gang gets together. You won’t be able to purchase Captain America: Civil War for another couple of weeks, but thanks to Marvel, you can watch the hilarious outtakes featuring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and the rest of the Avengers crew right now.

Captain America: Civil War is officially the highest-grossing film of 2016 (domestically) with over $400 million at the box office — which means you’re probably pretty excited about owning Marvel’s latest superhero epic when it comes to DVD and Blu-ray; which also means that this bit of news is of particular interest to you. Disney has set an official Blu-ray release date for Civil War, and if you’re curious about the special features, they’ve revealed those, too.

While reviews for Captain America: Civil War were not quite as unanimous as past entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was one thing we could all agree on: Sony Pictures was very, very smart to let Marvel take a crack at shaping the next series of Spider-Man movies.

Anyone sitting in the Captain America: Civil War theater had at least some pang of discomfort at Steve embracing a flirtation with Sharon Carter, great niece to his one true love, the late Peggy Carter. Even Agent Carter herself, Hayley Atwell has weighed in, but now might go full supervillain to curb the new pairing. “You can’t tap that!”, Atwell said at Dallas Comic-Con over the weekend.

The Cosbaby figures for Captain America: Civil War were revealed a while back, but Hot Toys has a late addition joining the mix. Though mostly every company's early plans for toy tie-ins were absent Spider-Man, a number of company's got the green light to show off the new version of the webhead this past week. That includes Hot Toys, who has a special set of Team Iron Man Cosbaby figures coming that specifically spotlights the new Peter Parker. While we still have yet to see if Hot Toys will give Spidey his sixth-scale due any time soon, the Cosbaby version is a nice representation of the character. While all the Civil War Cosbaby toys have looked sharp, Spider-Man in particular stands out from the crowd. Part of that has to do with his costume being among the brightest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it's also due to the fact that his concept translates so well to the small body/big head format.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. paid the requisite lip service to Captain America: Civil War by last week’s ante-penultimate hour (also unintentionally eulogizing Agent Carter in the process), but series star Chloe Bennet appears to have had enough of the one-way street. “The Marvel Cinematic Universe loves to pretend that everything is connected, but then they don’t acknowledge our show at all,” Bennet opines in a new interview.

The comic book version of Baron Zemo looks quite different from the way he was portrayed in Captain America: Civil War — most notably, the character is typically seen wearing a purple hood, which was permanently fused to his face following an unfortunate run-in with an experimental adhesive. But Daniel Bruhl’s version of Zemo in Civil War is depicted without the hood, or any real resemblance to his comic book counterpart, for that matter. Although that choice was probably for the best, unused concept art shows what Bruhl might have looked like if Joe and Anthony Russo had remained more faithful to the source material.

Also, people are fooled, tricks are played, and measures are desperate. “Emancipation” was directed by Vincent Misiano and written by Craig Titley.

If you somehow have been living on a derelict space station that only just crashed back down on Earth and you missed out on the months of hype for Captain America: Civil War, I guess it's a little late for a Spider-Man spoiler warning. To be fair, even Marvel couldn't help but spill the beans on the webhead's arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by showing him off in trailers and images well before the film hit theaters. Oddly though, while there is plenty of Captain America and Iron Man merchandise to be found from the new film, there's nary a Spider-Man figure to be seen. That changes this summer.
