CBS’ Supergirl took a small break to accommodate those pesky Grammys everyone seemed so excited about, but will unchain its iteration of DC villain Master Jailer this coming Monday. The first trailer and photos of “Truth, Justice and the American Way” have arrived, an hour helmed by Punisher: War Zone and Arrow director Lexi Alexander.

Despite having already technically crossed over, Supergirl and The Flash are keeping details of their March meeting largely under wraps, at least for now. We’ve seen one set photo, and another suggests that Italia Ricci’s take on DC’s Silver Banshee may play a significant part.

Supergirl has almost built its own universe faster than the world around it, and now the CBS drama will flesh out one of its mythology’s most recognizable assets. Check out Supergirl’s Superman-free take on the Fortress of Solitude, coinciding with the arrival of another past Supergirl, Laura Vandervoort.

The Flash’s warm “Welcome to Earth-2” gave us a first tease of the upcoming Supergirl crossover, seemingly confirming CBS’ Kara belongs to another universe, but let’s get those crazy kids together already! CBS has kept mum on details of a new Star Trek TV series since the announcement that it would debut on CBS All-Access in 2017, and its first announcement brings mostly good news. First off, Hannibal and American Gods showrunner Bryan Fuller will return to his Star Trek past to topline the new series!

The moment Supergirl was announced for CBS, Flash and Arrow fans have hoped for a potential crossover between The CW and CBS. Recent responses from executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti have overwhelmingly dashed our hopes, but it looks like Supergirl pulled a fast one. Barry Allen is coming to National City!

The moment Supergirl was announced to cast a young Kal-El, we knew some explanation was required. All was soon revealed that Alan Moore’s iconic “For the Man Who Has Everything” story would spawn an upcoming Supergirl of the same premise, sending Kara back to a normal life on Krypton, as seen in the first official photos.

CBS’ Supergirl has understandably kept its distance from an actual Superman appearance, both for in-story purposes and the character’s cinematic exploits, but would a familiar face help? Smallville star Tom Welling never technically got a chance to don the famous cape, and answers if he’d be open to stepping in as Supergirl’s Man of Steel.

However dim hope seemed in the first place, fans of both Supergirl and The Flash perked up at news that Warner Bros. had a month or so to work out a potential multi-network crossover for its DC heroes this season. Sadly, that ship seems to have sailed, according to mutual executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.
