Civil War II completely overwhelmed the Marvel Universe over most of the year, but thankfully all your favorite titles are now free from its clutches and we’re finally at the last issue. With Iron Man and Captain Marvel ready to duke it out one last time, and with Spider-Man caught in the middle, let’s get together for one last Civil War Correspondence and see how the world has changed forever... this time around.

After nearly two months without a Civil War Correspondence, we're back to recap the events of Civil War II #6 and 7, as things head towards their inevitable conclusion and the stakes get higher but more personal.

With a founding Avenger dead and battle lines nearly drawn, it’s time to dig back into the story for more Civil War Correspondence, and review where I stand on the conflict. I reserve the right to flip-flop at will, although that’s looking less and less likely. This month we're looking solely at Civil War II #5 as the heroes finally clash and the final page hits uncomfortably close to reality. Spoilers follow.

This time around we’re looking at the fourth issue of Civil War II, as well as two issues of The Ultimates, and I finally pick a side as a fan-favorite Marvel character crosses a line and becomes potentially irredeemable.

We're three issues into Civil War II now and the stakes have raised dramatically. There have been major deaths and lines crossed as the heroes contend with the predictive information provided by the Inhuman named Ulysses. With Civil War Correspondence, I'm recapping the story so far and providing offering a personal assessment of where I stand in the conflict. I reserve the right to flip-flop at will. This time around we're looking at the second and third issues of Civil War II, and the death of an Avenger --- at the hands of another Avenger.

Civil War II is upon us, and all of our favorite Marvel books are going to be subsumed by a conflict that pits hero against hero, sister against brother, and Avenger against Avenger. To keep track of the moral quagmire, we at ComicsAlliance will be following events closely to determine which side is right in this ethically grey debate. This first month sees the playing field established with two prelude issues and today’s big, life-altering Civil War II #1. New characters are introduced, classic characters die, and lines are drawn in the sand as the principal players take their positions and prepare for war.
