Last night’s Flash outing finally introduced us to Season 3's big bad “Savitar,” a hulking self-described “God of Speed” that last had Barry pinned against the wall. His lightning movements made the CG character difficult to see at first, but one small detail raises an interesting question, and might just upend Cisco’s prophesied “Vibe” about Caitlin becoming an evil “Killer Frost.”

Kevin Smith’s first Flash episode “The Runaway Dinosaur” ended up a rather emotional affair, but our first look at “Killer Frost” is anything but tearful. Instead, Caitlin seems to be running white-hot (or white-cold) in our first photos of the final pre-crossover outing.

Flash fans have known since The CW series first confirmed Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow as major characters that Vibe and Killer Frost would one day grace the screen. All three seasons have taken steps closer to their comic counterparts, and now a new featurette finally reveals what Killer Frost and Vibe will look like all-suited up.

The Flash got off to a less-than-speedy start in Season 3, so what better occasion to look back at the DC drama’s ups and downs? Just in time for the next run, The Flash gets the Honest Trailer treatment, and you’ll never not notice Grant Gustin’s bobbling head again.

The CW wasted little time after Kevin Smith’s Flash episode to return him for another run in Season 3, one imminently gearing up for production. Smith even teased his return over Twitter, but may have inadvertently revealed a frosty and telling episode title in the process.

Just over a week will see gods and men brawl for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, firmly cementing Henry Cavill’s broody Man of Steel and Ben Affleck’s somehow-less-broody Dark Knight as our live-action DC mainstage. The cast of The Flash has their own take on who might win the day, even as the movies summarily refuse to acknowledge their existence.

There’s no secret that The Flash will finally introduce us to Killer Frost with this coming Tuesday’s “Welcome to Earth-2,” but however much time we get to spend with an alternate-reality version of Caitlin Snow, The CW will make it memorable. Check out some chilly new Killer Frost art from the Tuesday premiere, along with brand-new photos from “Welcome to Earth-2.”

DC TV shows have an astonishing amount of musical theatre talent between them, not the least of which is Rent alum Jesse L. Martin as The Flash’s Joe West. We’ve seen The Flash get musical once or twice before, but “Welcome to Earth-2” will finally give the erstwhile Tom Collins his due, judging by the official photos.

Flash may have gotten a bit stuck in the “Fast Lane” by this week’s ho-hum hour, but the next two weeks may prove the most anticipated of the season, finally heading to Earth-2 with plenty of familiar faces. There’s little standing in the way of The Flash’s 2016 return with Tuesday’s “Potential Energy,” but the future has plenty more obstacles to throw at the team.
