This month in Marvel's February solicitations, there's a fight you never knew you wanted, answers you've been clamoring for for over a year, and an odd reunion of an odd superhero team, of a sorts.
Ghost Rider --- Spirit of Vengeance, reckless driver, and the only character anyone's talked about on this season of Agents of SHIELD --- is back in his own comic thanks to Felipe Smith, Danilo Beyruth, and Tradd Moore, and we have an unlettered first look at the new series, courtesy of Marvel.
When Marvel first introduced the character of Gwenpool, a lot of people were instantly turned off by what seemed like a blatant cash-grab. She’s Spider-Gwen + Deadpool, and inspired by cosplay; there doesn’t seem to be much there to her at all.
However, under the watch of Christopher Hastings and Gurihiru in the pages of The Unbelievable Gwenpool, she’s actually one of the most interesting and complex characters in the Marvel Universe.
Last month, Marvel announced a whole slew of titles that fall under the new Marvel Now banner, but it seems one of them may have slipped through the cracks. Today, the publisher has announced a new ongoing Ghost Rider title once again starring Robbie Reyes as the flame-headed vengeance seeking anti-hero.
