As much as I might not like Tim Burton's Batman movies, I will always kind of love Michael Keaton. I mean, I saw Multiplicity in the theater. Twice. That's how much I love that dude. And as a result, I could not possibly be more interested in Birdman, a new film by Alejandro González Iñárritu starring Keaton as an actor best known for playing a superhero, a role that cast a shadow over his career and may be destroying his mental health. 'Amazing Spider-Man 2′ Review: Not As Amazing As 'Spider-Man 2′

Director Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 will be ten years old in June. It's an important movie for fans of the superhero genre -- the first movie in this present generation to be "good", rather than "good, but..." The commitment, pathos, and unabashed joy in Sam Raimi's sequel made it nearly everyone's favorite superhero movie -- until The Dark Knight, or Avengers, or Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Now there's another Spider-Man 2, an "Amazing" one, the second movie in director Marc Webb's reboot for Sony's Columbia Pictures. It is definitely not more amazing than Spider-Man 2. It is resolutely and in every way a sequel to 2012's Amazing Spider-Man, for better and for worse.

See, Andrew Garfield, who stars as the title role of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, has been learning how to play guitar, and in a segment on The Tonight Show, Fallon offers one up so that Garfield can make his public debut as a musician.

His song of choice? The rollicking theme from the classic Spider-Man cartoon. And then he's joined by The Roots. It's pretty awesome.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actors Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield seem like good people and a sweet couple -- they've been dating since 2011 -- but in a recent kids' Q&A to promote their upcoming movie, Garfield said a dumb, sexist thing. Following a week of grainy pictures of posters, surprise villain appearances and teaser set photos, Sony and Columbia Pictures have released the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. With three villains -- the Rhino, Electro and Green Goblin -- appearing in the film, the trailer had a short amount of time to dedicate to so many adversaries, not to mention the star of the film. But it manages to give time to everyone, while offering at least a hint, if not a really good look, at what each character will look like on screen.
