'Supergirl' Confirms 'Flash' Musical Crossover, Miss Martian
Come on, sooner or later, someone had to use those pipes. With the addition of Supergirl to the Arrow-verse, musical fans practically had bingo of amazing singers sharing the screen, and The CW will finally reward us for it. Not only will Supergirl and The Flash have a two-episode musical crossover of their very own, we’ll also meet Miss Martian this season.

The flurry of Comic-Con 2016 afforded us our first look at the big-screen Justice League all suited up, while a few doors down saw DC’s TV heroes similarly previewing their next appearances. TV Flash Grant Gustin even had a chance to check out his big-screen counterpart’s Flash-ier costume, noting that the CW version had more of a “street, vintage” feel.

Even as The Flash succinctly wrapped up Season 2 with Zoom’s defeat, the final moments sent a tingle down DC spines, to seemingly set up a universe-shattering “Flashpoint” arc for Season 3. It remained to be seen how The Flash might tackle such a wide-ranging DC story, but series star Grant Gustin at least confirms Season 3 headed in that direction with an official premiere title.

The addition of Supergirl to The CW lineup of course demanded an epic four-way crossover with Arrow, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, though fans of Glee alum Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin in particular have clamored for the talented casts to put their pipes to good use. Stephen Amell has put his green boot down, however, wanting to get Arrow back to its grounded roots, rather than go anywhere near musical territory.
