Your wish is our command, as the first clip from the November event sees Supergirl quickly proving to the team just how Super she really is.

Long before Supergirl even had a Season 2 renewal, producers declared their intent to introduce past Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter in a stately new role. The day has finally arrived, as a new Supergirl Season 2 photo pairs a wondrous woman with the Maiden of Might, as shooting continues up north.

Come on, sooner or later, someone had to use those pipes. With the addition of Supergirl to the Arrow-verse, musical fans practically had bingo of amazing singers sharing the screen, and The CW will finally reward us for it. Not only will Supergirl and The Flash have a two-episode musical crossover of their very own, we’ll also meet Miss Martian this season.

Faster than a speeding bullet could announce that Supergirl would swoop in an official actor to play Superman, the Man of Steel is already here. Teen Wolf star Tyler Hoechlin will officially don the boots and red cape, appearing as both Superman and Clark Kent in two episodes of the new CW season.

The addition of Supergirl to The CW lineup of course demanded an epic four-way crossover with Arrow, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, though fans of Glee alum Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin in particular have clamored for the talented casts to put their pipes to good use. Stephen Amell has put his green boot down, however, wanting to get Arrow back to its grounded roots, rather than go anywhere near musical territory.

Earlier this week word broke that Supergirl Season 2 was locked in a budget standoff between CBS and Warner Bros. TV, potentially considering a move to The CW, and another option has arrived. Production is discussing a move from California to Vancouver, though other outlets like Hulu are also starting to express interest.

The moment Supergirl folded in The Flash (and by extension Arrow) into its iteration of the “Multiverse,” questions arose as to which Earths might have unseen counterparts of familiar faces from either network.
