Michael Shannon is the latest frontrunner for the role of the comic-book character making his highly-anticipated debut in Deadpool 2. Although there are still a few other names on the studio’s shortlist, everyone’s favorite weirdo is the current favorite — because obviously.

Although Henry Cavill’s Superman defeated Zod in Man of Steel, the trailers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have shown that Michael Shannon’s not really done with the franchise just yet.
