The ResurrXion is less than a month away, and we've got a look inside the first issue of X-Men Blue, the new book about the time-displaced founding X-Men, written by Cullen Bunn with art by Jorge Molina. All the press around ResurrXion has been about taking the X-Men back to their roots as supheroes, and that's definitely going on here, with the team leaping out of a Blackbird jet to stop a robbery on board a luxury yacht. And the thief turns out to be a classic X-Men villain, to boot.

Maybe I'm biased as a comics fan of a certain age, but I often feel like everyone is nostalgic for corner box art on comics covers, even those who weren't necessarily buying comics when those little boxes were a staple. For the uninitiated, I'm talking about the little rectangle in the upper left corner of a comics cover, which would feature some manner of portrait of the book's main characters. While many comics companies had corner boxes, they're most associated with Marvel (probably because DC never really got into them).

Those of us who were getting panicky about the absence of Wolverine from the ResurrXion announcements can all calm down a bit now. Marvel announced today that All-New Wolverine will continue with its current numbering while the rest of the X-line relaunches. Tom Taylor is staying on as writer, with Leonard Kirk joining as series artist with issue #19, which also brings a cover redesign to match the branding of the ResurrXion books, as well as cover art by Adam Kubert and the beginning of a new story arc, "Immune." It's still weird that none of the X-Men team books feature Wolverine, but at least we know she's still going to be a part of the Marvel Universe.

Marvel Comics has finally revealed details of the last of its Resurrxion line of new X-Men titles with news that the adventures of Cable, aka Nathaniel Christopher Dayspring Askani'son Summers, will come courtesy of James Robinson and Carlos Pacheco in 2017.

Here we are at the end of the week with another ResurrXion announcement. The Weapon X book that we knew was coming will be written by Greg Pak with art by Greg Land, and we now know that it's a team book featuring Old Man Logan, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Warpath, and Domino.

ResurrXion reveal week continues with the news that Jean Grey, the first solo comic for the teenage X-Man once known as Marvel Girl, will come to us next spring from the creative team of writer Dennis Hopeless and artist Victor Ibañez.

The week of X-Men ResurrXion news continues with the announcement that the new Generation X will be written by Christina Strain with art by Amilcar Pinna. The book features Jubilee leading and mentoring a team of students consisting of Bling, Eye Boy, Quentin Quire, Nature Girl, and Benjamin Deeds, plus a new character named Nathaniel Carver. It launches in Spring 2017, alongside X-Men Gold, X-Men Blue, and Iceman.

When Marvel Comics began rolling out its teasers for the upcoming Resurrxion line of titles following Inhumans vs X-Men, one of the most exciting pieces of news was that Iceman would be getting his own ongoing comic. Today, the publisher has unveiled the creative team for Iceman as Sina Grace and Alessandro Vitti, who will be delving into Bobby Drake's mindset as a recently out gay man, what that means for his past, and what it means for the future.

After a series of collage teasers and plenty of speculation, Marvel has revealed the creative teams and rosters for the two X-Men books that start in April 2017, as part of the ResurrXion relaunch that follows Inhumans vs. X-Men.

All week, Marvel has been taunting us on its official Twitter account with teasers labelled "ResurrXion," which reveal the titles for X-books that come after this winter's Inhumans Vs X-Men crossover. Marvel has confirmed to ComicsAlliance that these are all new ongoing series, but aside from an interview on Marvel.com with editors Mark Paniccia and Daniel Ketchum, the publisher hasn't said much else so far, and no creative teams have been revealed. While we wait for more details, let's look at these teasers to get an idea of what's coming for the X-Men line in 2017.
