Quentin Tarantino To Promote Django/Zorro At SDCC
Dynamite Entertainment plans to make a big splash at this year's San Diego Comic-Con to mark its 10th year in the business, and part of its plans involves a celebratory panel bringing together several of its star creators -- including one of the talents behind their new Django/Zorro comic, one Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino is what one might call an "emerging" talent in the world of comics, but he's enjoyed some success in the field of film-making with pictures like Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, and the prequel to the Django/Zorro commic, Django Unchained. Tarantino will be joined on the panel by two of his collaborators on the project, Matt Wagner and Reginald Hudlin.
San Diego Comic-Con's Dubious Harassment Policy Doesn't Work
San Diego's Comic-Con International has a problem that it doesn't want to address. The Walking Dead Escape to Simulate a Zombie Apocalypse During Comic-Con
As if San Diego Comic-Con International wasn't harrowing enough -- Seriously, you should see me by day four if you want to witness true horror -- this year's uber-convention will include a chance to go through your very own zombie apocalypse via something called The Walking Dead Escape, a kind of haunted house-like experience promoting AMC's TWD TV show based on Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Char
TR!CKSTER: San Diego’s Creator-Owned Pop-Up Store, Gallery and Party
As part of the growing creator-owned comics activism (and perhaps as a response to the increasingly extra-comics nature of Comic-Con International), a large group of comics writers and artists have conspired to created TR!CKSTER, a multi-purpose event and retail space across the street from the San Diego Convention Center, site of this summer's massive comics convention...
