Marvel 'Inhumans' TV Series Won't Use 'Agents of SHIELD' VFX
Marvel’s The Inhumans TV series made clear at the moment of its announcement that the new IMAX-shot story wouldn’t use Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a basis for spinoff, though it remains an open question if the two series might share any mythology in common. At the very least, we know the new Marvel series won’t utilize the same VFX as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., perhaps creating a different look.

Well, this is certainly unexpected. Marvel’s Inhumans has bounced around theatrical release dates enough that many wondered if Marvel might make the film at all, and now the project appears to have undergone TV-genesis. Yes, Marvel’s The Inhumans is now an ABC TV series premiering in fall 2017, debuting its first two episodes in IMAX theaters!

Movie rumors on the Internet are notoriously difficult to verify or confirm. (What I've started referring to as the Katee Sackhoff Incident is proof enough of that.) So take this with the appropriate grain of salt: Collider, citing unnamed sources, is reporting that Marvel Studios is moving ahead with an Inhumans movie, with a script written by Joe Robert Cole, a writer who worked his way through the studio's in-house writing program.
