Warner Bros. Entertainment and 5th Cell Media confirmed April's rumors of a Scribblenauts/DC Comics title in a big way in May with the official announcement of Scribblenauts Unmasked and a corresponding trailer and set of screen shots demonstrating protagonist Maxwell's future adventures with the heroes and villains of the DCU powered by his noun-manifesting magical notebook. They didn't stop there, though, sharing evermore preview images across social media, giving players a broader look at Scribblenauts-ified DC characters and locations, plus gameplay functionality unique to game such as the game's Super Hero Creator module and Batcomputer. Are you ready for ScribblenautsMogo?

If you're not a super mega-nerd, you may not be aware that E3 is going on right now, but I can assure you that the rest of us are riveted by the news about this year's upcoming video games. There are a lot of announcements coming out, from new consoles to new Pokémon, but for us, some of the most interesting stuff has to do with the upcoming Batman games, Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman City Origins: Blackgate.

‘Injustice: Gods Among Us': Surprisingly Fun, Astonishingly Stupid
This week finally saw the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, the new game from the creators of Mortal Kombat in which DC's most popular characters (and Aquaman) wage a brutal battle for the fate of a dystopian parallel universe. Regular ComicsAlliance readers may already be aware that I've had my issues with the plot of the game, but despite that, Warner Bros...

Capcom’s Canceled ‘Maverick Hunter’ Would Have Been A Mega Man First-Person Shooter
Over the past 25 years, Capcom's Mega Man has appeared in just about every kind of game there is. A ‘Regular Show’ Video Game Is Coming Later This Year
Ask anyone who knows me, and they'll tell you that the biggest complaint I have about modern life is that there simply aren't enough electronic simulations of life as a raccoon. I mean, sure, we've got Sly Cooper, but raccoonery has far too much depth for one franchise to cover alone...

Between the show, the comic, the 3DS game and other assorted tie-ins and merchandise, there is a lot of Adventure Time stuff out there. This week, though, a new mobile game for iOS was released and immediately rocketed past almost everything else to the top of our to-purchase list...

‘Castlevania: Mirror Of Fate’ And Making The Best of A Reboot
With the exception of Simon's Quest for the NES, I've been a pretty big fan of the Castlevania games for my entire life. That said, I walked away from 2010's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, a reboot of the franchise that involved Metal Gear Solid's Hideo Kojima, thinking that it was one of the dumbest games I'd ever played...
