Although just about every character in The LEGO Movie was delightful enough to deserve their own spinoff, only one truly warranted it: Will Arnett’s hilariously narcissistic Batman. The new trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie expands on what made that character so great, functioning as both a loving sendup and amazing satire of the iconic superhero. It’s kind of perfect.

The first teaser for The LEGO Batman Movie was appropriately Bat-heavy and even more delightful than we could have imagined. And while Will Arnett’s narcissistic Dark Knight probably doesn’t care too much about his co-stars, we’ve been anxious to see what some of Batman’s other famous characters will look like in the upcoming LEGO Movie spinoff. Thankfully, the wait is over.

If you’re not particularly a fan of Jared Leto’s Joker aesthetic in Suicide Squad, then the latest Joker-centric news may put a smile on that face (sorry): Zach Galifianakis is in talks to join Will Arnett’s Batman and Michael Cera’s Robin in the LEGO Batman movie as the voice of the iconic clown prince. Cue laughter.

As much as I might not like Tim Burton's Batman movies, I will always kind of love Michael Keaton. I mean, I saw Multiplicity in the theater. Twice. That's how much I love that dude. And as a result, I could not possibly be more interested in Birdman, a new film by Alejandro González Iñárritu starring Keaton as an actor best known for playing a superhero, a role that cast a shadow over his career and may be destroying his mental health. Also, the Hulk, Gwen Stacy and Snow Job are in it.It's pretty exciting.

You don't see a lot of actors playing comic book creators in mainstream TV or film, so it's been a bit of a pleasant surprise to see comedian and actor Zach Galifianakis playing a Brooklyn comic book artist named Ray Hueston on the HBO comedy "Bored to Death...
