Do you remember how you felt the first time you saw the Caped Crusader's new look in Batman: The Animated Series? Andrea Rhodes' work hit us like a ten-ton mallet to the forehead when we laid our eyes on her growing sketchbook of Bat-art. It looks like a collaboration between Chuck Jones and Tim Sale, and someone should turn these concepts into an animated short.Rhodes' figures do vary a bit, but she's drawn Batman, Harley Quinn and Batgirl in her contributions over at the you and i sketch blog. As you'll see, it's not hard to see how she decided it might be fun to apply a Wile E. Coyote-approach to Harley.

The Two-Face and Joker on the blog are also mighty looney-looking. It's amazing how much crazier a guy can look due only to a few stray crooked hairs on his head.
