The Dark Knight Saves A Kitty From Machine Gun Fire In New ‘Batman: Year One’ Clip [Video]
It's just a few weeks until the October 18 debut of the animated adaptation of Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's Batman: Year One, and Warner Bros. seems to be going for the jugular when it comes to releasing iconic video clips. A few weeks back we caught Batman crashing a dinner party (sans bladder spasm) and now fans can help themselves to part of a scene so beloved, it's already been roughly recreated in Batman Begins. Can you guess the one? I'll give you a hint -- he (gently) tosses a kitty out a window. Check it out after the jump.Year One stars Ben McKenzie (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Bryan Cranston (Jim Gordon), Eliza Dushku (Selina Kyle/Catwoman), Katee Sackhoff (Detective Sarah Essen) and Alex Rocco (Carmine Falcone). I know a lot of fans haven't been completely sold on McKenzie's take on Bruce Wayne -- especially since Batman: The Animated Series icon Kevin Conroy is still around -- but this new animated sequence seems quite a bit more natural than the first teaser clip. A dude who played a fictional dude who was friends with another fictional dude obsessed with comics certainly must have given his Batman best, right?
