Conan O’Brien & Bruce Timm’s ‘The Flaming C’ Appears in ‘Young Justice’ [Video]
A Conan O'Brien-inspired superhero created by the talk show host and legendary Warner Bros. animator Bruce Timm has made his first appearance with the Justice League. O'Brien and Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited) came up with The Flaming C back in December, when Conan first realized how close his new studio was to the famous Warner Bros. Animation building. O'Brien instructed a captive Timm to design the character with loafers, fishnet stockings and garters, oven mits, a jai alai glove and "more of an ass."
The Flaming C's animated debut was part of the first episode of Conan in 2011, when the host presented a clip from Cartoon Network's Young Justicepremiere that featured The Flaming C in place of Superman. It was quite disconcerting, as you can see for yourself in the video after the jump. Take note of O'Brien's pathetic ignorance as to the identity of Zatara, father of fishnet pioneer Zatanna. n00b.
