You know what Marvel needs? More Deadpool titles. Between "Deadpool", "Deadpool Team-Up," "Deadpool Corps," "Deadpool: Wade Wilson's War," "Deadpool: Pulp" and the various other Deadpool tie-ins, there's clearly always room for more.

Luckily, executive editor Axel Alonso has heard our desperate cries and is delivering Deadpool's first mature readers title -- DeadpoolMAX. Announced over at CBR's Marvel T&A column (featuring Alonso and fellow executive editor Tom Brevoort), the all-new series starring everyone's favorite Merc with a Mouth will feature the unlikely-yet-intriguing creative team of gritty writer Dave Lapham and legendary artist Kyle Baker."Deadpool MAX" kicks off in October, and although Alonso was tight-lipped on specifics, he did offer up a few hints as to what fans can expect from the "Immature Readers" floppy:

"We have a story to tell, and the only way to tell it is through MAX. Will it be sophomoric? Yes. Will it be fun? Yes. Will it be smart? Define smart."

Sounds like another winner for the red and black clad psychopathic assassin to us!
