‘What Every Woman Should Know’ Comic Exposes Deceptive ‘Crisis Pregnancy Centers’
The Cartoon Movement, an international site that publishes editorial cartoons and comics submitted by artists and selected by their readers, first caught our attention with its cartoons in support of assaulted cartoonist Ali Ferzat. They also recently posted a very interesting and above all informative comic by Susie Cagle called "What Every Woman Should Know" about the faith-based "crisis pregnancy centers" that have been cropping up in California. As Cagle explains, their undisclosed (and deceptive) goal is not to provide women with the medical information they need to make a decision, but rather to dissuade and often delay them to the point where they have fewer choices.A good read for anyone who cares about reproductive rights.
