Goodnight Dune by Julia Yu: The Spice Must Flow Across Your Sleepy Eyes

After seeing Goodnight Dune in College Humor's 5 Sci-Fi Children's Books parody article on Reddit, cartoonist Julia Yu responded to one commenter's request for more by actually writing and illustrating a complete Goodnight Dune book, a mash-up of the famous sci-fi franchise and the beloved children's book, Goodnight Moon. Yu's work is the perfect juxtaposition of arcane Dune vocabulary, bizarre props from David Lynch's 1984 film adaptation and childhood nostalgia. To say more would ruin the joke.
Julia Yu was nice enough to let ComicsAlliance repost Goodnight Dune in its entirety, so check out the book after the jump and please visit her official website for more from this talented artist.
