While most of Fox's domestic efforts to promote Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class have resulted in a mixed bag of confounding Photoshoppery and competent trailers, the studio's international promotion efforts have come off mostly cohesive. That said, the latest international trailer is pretty darn visually engaging. Sure, nobody is buying that this film takes place in the same universe as the rest of the X-films (which is fine -- really -- we wouldn't mind forgetting about some of them, Fox), but on a basic level it's nice to see the drama between the young Charles and Erik between blips of new footage showing off the powers of dudes like Banshee. Also, Kevin Bacon wears cool shades on a yacht and Baconsplodes! Check out the new international trailer after the jump.James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), January Jones (Emma Frost), Jason Flemyng (Azazel), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and the rest of the merry mutants will show us what the swinging '60s were all about on June 3.
