The X-Men Take to the Catwalk Care of Max Wittert [Art]

Earlier this week, we took a look at the work of artist Kevin Wada and his ripped-from-the-runway take on the X-Men. Wada was only half of the high-fashion mutant equation, though, with another set of equally stylish costume designs being created by Max Wittert. As one of the most costume-change prone superhero teams in comics, the X-Men lend themselves especially well to Wittert's paintings depicting Gambit, Jubilee, Spiral and others in outfits that would stop traffic, even if some might make stopping a sentinel slightly more cumbersome. I'm especially fond of Dazzler's high-heeled roller skates (and dangling microphone -- wireless mics ain't got no soul). Check out Wittert's stunningly stylish X-Men art after the jump.
