NYCC Exclusive Minimates Take Fans to the ‘Age of Apocalypse’ With Plenty of ‘New Mutants’

Following up on its very '90s San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, Art Asylum and Diamond Select will hit October's New York Comic Con with even more Clinton-era comic book action in the form of two "Age of Apocalypse" Minimates box sets, plus a more '80s-oriented "New Mutants" four-pack. Either way you look at it, that's a ton of X-cellent X-treme X-citement... something, something X!
Fans got a look at AoA Magneto, Rogue, Cyclops and Sunfire, along with the New Mutant cast of Cannonball, Wolfsbane, Sunspot and Karma awhile back, but the new inclusion of AoA Wolverine, Dark Beast, Jean Grey and Apocalypse himself really round out the 12-mate strong NYCC lineup.

These three box sets mark the first Minimate appearance of six characters (all four of the New Mutants plus Sunfire and Dark Beast), and make powerful strides in Minimate hair sculpting with an abundance of Marvel mutants showing off flowing locks. Cyclops and Magneto alone could stand in for members of Dethklok.
