Paul Cornell has quickly acquired a reputation as one of the top new talents at DC Comics with his work on "Action Comics," and in October he'll be launching a new miniseries called "Knight and Squire" with artist Jimmy Broxton, about the heroic duo that serves as London's equivalent of Batman and Robin. We had a chance to speak with Cornell about the six-issue series, wherein the British creator plans to create no less than 100 new British heroes and villains for the DC Universe, as part of his mission to make the lives of the people who write the DC Comics encyclopedia as difficult as possible.

Watch our video interview with Paul Cornell, and check out a 7-page preview of "Knight and Squire" thanks to the Source after the jump.
