Rick Geary’s Kickstarter Shows President Obama Conspiracy Theories From A To Z

Whether he's illustrating Victorian Era murderers, J. Edgar Hoover biographies, or Gumby and his friends, Rick Geary's work is always enjoyable. Now the celebrated cartoonist is tackling a new topic: President Barack Obama. Specifically, he's turned to Kickstarter to for funding of his new book, A is for Antichrist: Obama's Conspiracy Alphabet, where he illustrates 26 of the crazier Obama conspiracy theories, from A to Z.

In his 4 1/2 years in the oval office, the dozens of baseless conspiracies about the United States' 44th president have run the gamut from hilarious to weird to just flat out depressing. If you ask the right (or wrong) person, President Obama is a secret Muslim who is somehow also the antichrist, a great Lizard Overlord, the son of Malcolm X, and/or took a trip to Mars as a teenager. Now Geary has taken it upon himself to illustrate more than two dozen of the crazier theories, and will publish a collection with enough funding through Kickstarter. Rewards range from $25 for a signed and personalized copy of the book with a limited edition book plate, to $300 for all of that plus an original piece of art from the book. And if you have $2,500 to spare -- and really, who doesn't -- Geary will draw you as the star of a five page crime story, and give you all the original art from that.
