Rumors have been swirling around for a few months that Elizabeth Olsen, the non-twin who has earned some major cred in movies such as Martha Marcy May Marlene and the upcoming Oldboy remake, would be taking on the role of the Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Now, thanks to Samuel L. Jackson and some helpful parentheticals from the Wall Street Journal, we know for sure she'll be taking on the role of Wanda Maximoff.

Here's what Jackson told the WSJ:

I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen [who will play the Scarlet Witch], but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.

It would seem that all the most-important information in that quote is in brackets, which means the Journal added in that info (or paraphrased it after-the-fact). That makes this whole thing rather confusing, but Marvel and director Joss Whedon haven't taken any steps to shoot the report down.

Jackson also confirmed that the film, which is set to open May 1, 2015, will shoot at Pinewood-Shepperton Studios in England, the same studio where Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy were shot.
