‘The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ DVD Extra Explores the Team’s Upcoming Season Two Looks [Exclusive Video]

Fans of Disney XD's Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes are in for a mega dose of DVD digestion next week when the series' first two volumes arrive in stores on April 26. Not only will the sets collect all 20 initial microsodes into seamless standalone episodes, they also come with bonus material giving fans a look at early concept designs for its cast of characters. We've been given an exclusive preview of one such extra, "New Looks for Classic Characters," in which fans get an early preview of the team's season two costumes. Get a glimpse of what Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Hulk and more will be wearing in season two after the jump.Not only will Iron Man get a brand new suit of armor in season two, Thor will be donning a costume more similar to his current Olivier Coipel/movie-style dudes with Captain America going a bit more "Ultimate" and the Hulk adorning transformation-friendly elastic shorts. Black Panther's new look is also addressed, but his costume is currently being withheld to prevent spoiling the team's upcoming animated adventures. Wasp's season two look isn't mentioned in the short clip, but it's easy to imagine the fashionista changing her attire at the same rate her comic book counterpart has been known to.
