Discover Who Chained The Universe In Ewing And Foreman’s ‘Ultimates 2′ #1 [Preview]

This week saw the conclusion of the first volume of Marvel's newest incarnation of the Ultimates, which brought together a team of heavy hitters charged with defending the Earth from the most cosmic of threats. Next month, the title relaunches as Ultimates 2 by Al Ewing and Travel Foreman, and Marvel has provided us with a first look at unlettered pages from the first issue.

Heading into Ultimates 2, Ewing has set up a host of dangling plot threads, including the rise of The Troubleshooters and Galactus' quest to discover who chained the universe. The final issue of Ultimates featured the creation of the first Herald of Life, and judging by the solicitation for the new volume, he may have five new colleagues as The Lifebringer looks to solve the mystery of who tamed Eternity.
