The time has almost come for new historical zombie comics to hit the stands and in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I love you all enough to post a joyous reminder.

-IDW's "We Will Bury You" written by brother-and-sister duo Brea Grant (of "Heroes") and Zane Grant with a cover by Ben Templesmith and interiors by Kyle Strahm arrives in stores in February.

-Wildstorm's "Victorian Undead" arrived in stores last week, but issue number 2 is set for December 23. The series is written by Ian Edginton with interior art by David Fabbri. Tony Moore handled the cover for issue #1, while Simon Coleby is handling issue #2.

-"The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks" by Max Brooks and Ibraim Roberson has been chilling on shelves for a little bit, but it's still important to mention what with the holiday shopping season set to hit critical mass this Friday."We Will Bury You" takes a look at America's roaring '20s through the horrific lens of the reanimated hungry while "Victorian Undead" imagines Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes dealing with a London under siege by zombies. Brook's "Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks" tours the entirety of zombified history and illustrates the portion of his original survival guide that I totally thought was real the first time I read it. Don't judge me.
