Valiant Entertainment Sponsors ‘Pokemon Go’ Lures At Comic Shops, In Case You Need Another Reason To Go Get Comics Today [SDCC 2016]
If you've been playing Pokémon Go lately --- and let's be real here, you have --- then you've probably noticed those showers of pink petals that show up at Pokéstops every now and then. Those, my friends, are lures, and they increase the number of Pokémon that show up to be caught in that area. And considering that you need to catch 'em all, those can come in pretty handy.
The problem, of course, is figuring out where they're going to be, but today, we have some very helpful information: In honor of this week's New Comics Day and the start of San Diego's Comic-Con International, Valiant Entertainment is sponsoring Lures at eleven comic book stores in New York, New Jersey, and California.

Sadly those of us down here in Flyover Country --- or anywhere outside the US --- are a little bit out of luck. And honestly, it's not like Times Square needs more Pokémon running around.
But still, it's pretty cool to see, and if it works for these shops, maybe other shops will get in on the action, too, rewarding their customers with new Pokémon friends. And if those customers happen to pick up Ninjak or Bloodshot Reborn while they're at it, well, that just works out for everybody, doesn't it?
