Comically Vintage: Paleocomicologists with a Sense of Humor
Comically Vintage takes panels from our grandparents' comics and lets those panels stand alone in all their goofy, out of context glory. The site tends to stick to three main themes: over-the-top love and hate from romance comics, "jumping-gee-willikers" 1950s slang and the silly plot twists of Silver Age superhero comics. All three themes are comic gold and will make you want to go back to the classics to find some panels of your own.
And if you like these panels enough to want to own them in the three dimensional world, you're in luck! Comically Vintage has a store where you can buy old school comic book panels on mugs, mousepads, t-shirts and keychains. Keep reading to check out our favorite panels from the last month.
Update: We've been assured by Comically Vintage their store is legal.
