We'll be spotlighting later this week a number of cool products to be sold exclusively at Comic-Con International in San Diego, but standing out among them is a new portfolio of Watchmen artwork by John Higgins, whose color art was integral to the wildly successful graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Higgins has illustrated three handsome portraits of Watchmen characters and colored them in two distinctly different styles, the "old school" Watchmen look and a contemporary approach. Both sets will be available in extremely limited editions.Watchmen Portfolio Set A includes The Comedian, the original Silk Spectre and Rorshach pencilled, inked and colored by John Higgins in the contemporary style practiced by his Turmoil Color Studios enterprise. The prints measure 11.7" x 16.5" and are limited to 80 sets for $120 each.

Watchmen Portfolio Set B includes the same characters in the classic Watchmen style and is limited to just 20 sets for $300 each. These prints are silk-screened prints (11.75" x 17.75") on perfect Somerset satin white, 250gsm paper, with hand-separated color by John.

All prints are signed and numbered and come with a TCS-embossed envelope.

Portfolios will be available at the Splash Page Comic Art booth #4400 at Comic-Con International in San Diego, but can be pre-ordered by contacting Higgins at www.turmoilcolour.com or Mark Hay at www.splashpageart.com
