One of the absolute best and most striking sequences in X-Men: Days of Future Past was Quicksilver’s big slow-mo moment in the kitchen, and it looks like we’ll be getting another similar sequence in X-Men: Apocalypse. Director Bryan Singer is teasing another big Quicksilver action scene in a new photo from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse, giving us a little taste of the making of such a cool sequence.

Singer posted the photo on Instagram, where he’s remained very active during production on the upcoming X-Men sequel:

It’s a super fun peek behind the scenes of the Quicksilver scene, and although Evan Peters himself is absent from the photo, we get to see some of the rigging and mechanics involved in creating one of these very complex sequences.

Quicksilver was one of the most surprising elements of Days of Future Past — when early promo photos debuted online, the initial reaction was less than favorable; honestly, Quicksilver looked pretty ridiculous. But once we saw him in action, he wound up being one of the absolute coolest new characters in the franchise.

Peters will return alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult in X-Men: Apocalypse, which also stars Oscar Isaac as the titular villain, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Ben Hardy as Angel, Lana Condor as Jubilee and Olivia Munn as Psylocke.

The film hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
