Robert Venditti and Cary Nord Team for ‘X-O Manowar’ #1 in May

The newly revived Valiant Comics has officially announced the creative team behind its first release. The Surrogates and The Homeland Directive writer Robert Venditti and artist Cary Nord of Conan fame will bring a time-displaced Visigoth trapped inside the most powerful weapon in the universe to stores in X-O Manowar #1 on May 2. More X-O, plus other preview material, will also be available in Valiant's long-teased Free Comic Book Day issue of X-O Manowar that features a cover by Jelena Kevic-Djurdjevic on May 5.From Valiant's official press release:

Born into battle and raised under the oppressive thumb of the Roman Empire, Aric of Dacia is a beloved figure among his men and a leader of the Visigoth people.
